1925
Founded by Hans Endras
After years of experience as a truck driver himself, Hans Endras took the step into self-employment and founded the sole proprietorship "Hans Endras Transportunternehmen".
1957
From transport company to freight forwarder
The transport company is handed over by founder Hans Endras to his son, Hans Willibald Endras. The second-generation owner expanded the company into a road freight forwarding business with a branch in Nuremberg and a warehouse at the company's home base in Kempten (Allgäu).
1983
Hans Friedrich Endras joins the company
After successfully completing his training as a freight forwarding merchant (Kaufmann für Speditionsdienstleistungen), Hans Willibald Endras's eldest son, Hans Friedrich Endras, joins the company.
1988
Wilhelm Endras joins the company
After successfully completing his apprenticeship as a commercial vehicle mechanic (Nutzfahrzeugmechaniker), Wilhelm Endras also joins the company. From this point on, he gradually takes on responsibility for the steadily growing fleet.
1990
Conversion to a GmbH
Following steady growth, management decides to convert the legal form of the company. Hans Endras Transportunternehmen becomes Endras-Spedition GmbH.
1992
Entry into building material logistics
The purchase of the first forklift-equipped truck makes it possible to enter the building material logistics business.
2006
Hans Endras appointed managing director
After 22 years, Hans Endras is appointed managing director of Endras-Spedition GmbH. At the same time, Wilhelm Endras is granted sole power of attorney (Einzelprokura).
2011
Christian Endras joins the company
After successfully completing his apprenticeship as an automotive mechanic (Kraftfahrzeugmechaniker) and gaining professional experience, Christian Endras joins the company. The fourth generation is now active in the business as well.
2013
Office building extension
After ongoing expansion, the existing office space reaches its limits. Management therefore decides to extend the office building with an additional wing.
2014
Switch to new corporate design
Switch to a uniform corporate design for the tractor unit, the body and the trailer. Going forward, the entire fleet is gradually brought in line with it.
2016
Manuel Endras joins the company
After training as a freight forwarding and logistics services merchant (Kaufmann für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung) and successfully completing a degree in business administration, Manuel Endras is now active in the company as well.
2018
In-house subcontractor telematics system developed
In the absence of an alternative on the software market and as a pioneer, Endras-Spedition develops its own subcontractor telematics system. From now on, all subcontractors are integrated into the transport management system landscape without any media discontinuity.
2023
In-house development of track & trace
As a quality provider, Endras-Spedition decides to develop an end-to-end track & trace solution for all shipments itself and make it available to its customers.
